The bench was delivered on the expected date. The bench is sturdy and feels like it’ll hold up for years. It wasn’t difficult nor did it take me long to put it together by myself. Poorly packed and comes in one large and heavy box so most likely you'll have some piece with cosmetic damage. This is a TV stand sold as a bench, priced differently in each listing. Now the cabinet is higher and more useful and there is storage underneath for cookbooks, my Dutch oven, and our stash of rice in a burlap sack. It woks for us. We bought for exactly this.. Laura. CA. The Painswick Storage Bench is the perfect perch for removing boots in an entryway or garden shoes in the mud room. Crafted of pine in a smooth finish, Painswick's three removable woven baskets provide no-fuss storage, and a white cotton cushion completes the look with comfort and farmhouse charm.

Turned out very nice! I love it! Going to put this in my foyer for people to put their shoes in. Took about 30-45 minutes to put together wasn’t bad at all. The only thing we had an issue with is with one of the screws on the basket. We had to leave that one out because it would not screw in for some reason and it doesn’t affect the usability of it because it’s the screw in the back. Overall very nice buy highly recommend!. Ayesha. Sat Oct 10 2026

I like the look of the red mahogany, but the plugs they include to cover the bolt holes look so much worse than the empty holes, their color doesn't match at all. Also the cubbies aren't wide enough for my shoes to fit the normal way, I have to put them on their side the same way they come in the box.. Anonymous. US. Mon Oct 20 2025
