The main structure of this bench is made of solid wood and iron. The bottom is added with H-shaped support shelves to increase stability. We like the craft flowers on the backrest and the solid wood legs in the style of Roman columns. This makes this bench both practical and decorative.

However not shown in photo there is a small support foot for the bottom railing/shelf which is great, but the inset for the screw for the support to screw into was totally loose we had to modify it to be able to use the support foot.. This bench was a very pleasant surprise. I wanted the William Yeoward, Jonathan Charles bench but at $1,900 I decided I would 'settle' for the Emmalee bench instead. I was SHOCKED to see its gorgeous quality and that it is identical to the more expensive one. The color I got says "natural" but as you can see in my photos it is not that; instead it is a beautiful brownish gray, much dressier than a natural finish. The size is identical to the more expensive one, and the construction is substantial, sturdy and very high quality. The cane seating is thick and sturdy.
