great value, the only feedback is that some of the leg joints are “sloppy” not as tight as could be, and the rattan seat is fairly loosely wrapped, but for the cost it is really good value.. Dan. Northville, MI. Thu Aug 06 2026

This clever bench features bobbin turnings on the arms, legs, and stretchers, and a sweetly scalloped apron. The seat is hand-tied rush and the seat divider makes this the perfect "time out" bench when there are cries from the children. This bench was a very pleasant surprise. I wanted the William Yeoward, Jonathan Charles bench but at $1,900 I decided I would 'settle' for the Emmalee bench instead. I was SHOCKED to see its gorgeous quality and that it is identical to the more expensive one. The color I got says "natural" but as you can see in my photos it is not that; instead it is a beautiful brownish gray, much dressier than a natural finish. The size is identical to the more expensive one, and the construction is substantial, sturdy and very high quality. The cane seating is thick and sturdy. Do not hesitate to purchase this beautiful bench for less than half the price of the Jonathan Charles!. Shannon. Mclean, VA. Mon Jun 08 2026
