I was able to assemble almost the entire bed myself. My husband only had to help me carry the bookcase sections upstairs because of their size. For the price, I think this bed is an excellent value. It completely changed the look and feel of my daughters room and gives her a fun, cozy setup that she genuinely enjoys. WOW. WOW. WOW. This is even more beautiful than I expected. It received so many positive reviews for a reason. It is absolutely gorgeous and looks way more expensive than what Wayfair charged. I rent a smallish room in a large home so I didn't want to take up too much space with a bigger bed. Making my twin mattress into a couch / sofa was the right way to go. Besides the reasonable price, the quality of the product is off the charts. They generously give you three (3) shams instead of two (2) AND a really pretty throw pillow with goldish / light brownish embroidery on it (that includes the pillow). I can't recommend this set enough. (Note: I didn't include the enclosed bed skirt because again, I didn't want it to look like a bed but rather a couch. I highly recommend this purchase. Go for it!.
