We needed a replacement specifically to accommodate a new adjustable base, since our old bed wasn’t compatible. We absolutely loved our previous bed and hoped to find something that wouldn’t completely compromise on style, as so many adjustable base-friendly designs tend to look cookie cutter and uninspired. We took a leap of faith ordering this bed, not fully sure it would work, but it turned out to be a good match with our existing side tables and dresser.
