The bronze color is a rich matte finish brown. I am 64 yo and was able to build it by myself. It did take a while (NOT 1.5 hours for me) and as another reviewer said, pushing all those plastic pieces in was rough on the hands ! It does seem very sturdy though. Well built, not flimsy at all. Don't tighten anything at all until everything is together - leave it really loose. Had to go back and loosen at first for more flexibility in connecting. 8" mattresses coming tomorrow - $99 deal each so the whole thing will be less than $500 for my grandchildren when they visit so they no longer have to bring sleeping bags or camp out on the floor ! I'd show you after the bedding is on but I'll prob forget so here it is....for now. Wendy. Ocean, NJ. Thu Oct 15 2026

This was just as expected and fits nicely under my daughter's bed. Make sure to check the size of the mattress (it's not a full twin but close). It'll be great for her sleepovers, and tucks away so we don't even think about it otherwise.. Eve. San Diego, CA. Tue Sep 29 2026

The mattress sits on top of the slats and rests on the side rails, allowing for good airflow and providing great support. This design includes a convenient trundle bed! I looked at many full bed/twin trundle beds and decided on this bed after reading many reviews and other sites with same style. This one is sturdy and not hard to put together. Unfortunately our twin mattress is an XL twin and was too large to put together the trundle. We just put the bed frame over the mattress on the floor and it works for us. The trundle can be pulled all the way out and move across the room if needed. We will save ours to use when we have to get a new twin mattress at another time.. Erinn. Meadows Place, TX. Mon Sep 14 2026

This daybed comes with a trundle bed to save space. Moreover, It can not only be used as a bed to provide a sleeping area, but also as a sofa to provide a leisure area in the living room, which is very practical.

I have ordered a lot from Wayfair over the years and have always been pleased, until this daybed arrived. No damage to the box but the door was hammered, almost all of the components either had damage, flaws or filthy. We had company coming and needed the extra bedding so my husband put it together. I am VERY disappointed to say the least!. Anonymous. Sun Oct 18 2026

Son loves it! The only thing I don’t like about it is that the trundle moves every time you get on or off it. It would be perfect if it came with stoppers to prevent it from moving when on it.. Guadalupe. Wed May 27 2026

Got this bed for our son. All in all it’s a very nice bed. Wanted the gray one but settled for the cream color as it is 50 cheaper. The upholstery is beautiful and soft. The bed is sturdy, i just wish the slats and the feet that supports the slats were made of metal. Take note that the maximum thickness of the twin trundle mattress is 8in anything thicker won’t fit. We got a 10inch mattress for the full bed, i think an 8 or a 12inch mattress would work fine too. It took us 2hrs to assemble it. Our son loves the bed. We took a gamble in this bed as it did not have any reviews ha! In summary We are happy for this purchase.. May. Queens, NY. Sat Jun 13 2026

Needless to say we are very pleased with this order. At first we was worried his existing twin size wouldn’t fit underneath but it did!! I would say the twin is around 8in. Weight capacities: 600 lbs (main bed) / 250 lbs (trundle) for reliable support.

Size is nice and perfect for an area with long windows because the bed sits lower. The slats could be a little wider for peace of mind. Keep in mind the larger “head board” does not have fabric on the outside. This is disappointing because it looks a bit unfinished unless you put that side against the wall. Otherwise it checked off all my other boxes.. Anonymous. Sat Aug 22 2026
