Very quiet compared to most brands I’ve had. I do think it could be a littler cooler on max but it will eventually cooldown the room and maintain good temp after. The portable AC unit definitely helps cool the room and makes my overall electric bill cheaper by not running the central AC as much. The biggest game changer is buying the dual hose conversion. I would not recommend this product if you did not purchase the door hose conversion.
