We don’t have a lot of wall space so we don’t have a tv in our living area. I wanted something that would allow me to incorporate a tv when necessary but stow it when not required. I chose this bc it wasn’t expensive. It could have been great had the designer added two holes for cables going from the top where the tv is and below where the 4 outlet strip is. Instead, the cables are exposed and tied down in the back. They could have been channeled down through the stand. Perhaps I can find someone to MacGyver it. Also, in hindsight sight, a shelf below the tv would have allowed for better control of a DVD player by remote. Easy enough to put together in spite of incorrect parts. This tripod floor lamp is a great addition to our living space. It was delivered quickly and was easy to assemble. The design is stylish and modern, and it provides a nice amount of light for the room. The quality is good for the price, and it looks just as pictured online.
