Wayfair sent me the gray one after all the other pink beds were sold out without informing me. The bed would have been extremely simple to assemble if I had only needed the Allen wrench that came in the box however I also needed a screwdriver. Save yourself some time and have a power drill ready. Daughter loves her bed! It seems pretty sturdy. The negatives for me are the side opposite of the desk is unfinished, it just has black backing on the side so it limits where the bed can be placed from an aesthetic perspective it basically has to be in a corner if you don’t want to see the black backing side. I was originally going to purchase this bed elsewhere, but before I did I found it here during Waydays for less. The order shipped and arrived quickly and the condition of the box was good. Unfortunately although cute, the bed itself seemed to have poor quality control. Some pieces were damaged and the holes in the bar across the top were off and made the bar overhang where it met instead of lining up as it should have. I reported the damage to Wayfair who allowed me 3 choices for resolution which I thought was fair. I would have preferred to have just received a better quality item, but was happy the problem was resolved quickly. The instructions were fairly easy to follow, assembly took longer than I would have liked and the holes for the slats for the mattress are not pre-drilled which would have made my job even harder if my husband had not taken over and done it with his drill..
