This arrived quickly. Instructions were easy to follow. Says two people to assemble, would have been faster with two, but I did it alone with some well positioned leaning supports to add bottom rails to sides. DO NOT BUY!!!!! I am extremely disappointed with this daybed. It was professionally assembled on August 27, and the odor is absolutely horrific. Even after airing out the room with the windows open for more than 24 hours, the smell remains overwhelming and is permeating beneath the closed door into my hallway and other rooms. The room is currently unusable. As a long-standing Wayfair customer, I have never experienced anything like this. Returning it would also be a tremendous hassle because I paid for professional assembly and would now need it disassembled and package item. I truly regret this purchase. Color is just right and matches our pine furnishings. Bed went togather well. It looks good from a distance. Up close the finger joints do show under the lighter tone of the stain and finish. But overall this piece looks good. It is only 74 inches long and many twin mattresses are listed as 75 inches long. Also the standard 39 inch wide mattress will overhang about 3 inches. I used a 10 inch thick mattress and am sorry. The bed is quite high and not useful as a couch now. The limitations may not be as clear in online info as they could be. Love this daybed! For those reading these reviews, I’m starting to question the intelligence of those that are saying it took 3 people and was a pain, etc. I put this bed together by myself and it took me about 1.5-2 hours! I think some folks just can’t follow directions or read It would have been easier with help as I had to be pretty flexible to hold the spindles while securing the pieces but I was too impatient to wait on my husband. I love how it looks and it seems sturdy! Impressed with the quality with how affordable it is!
