The chair is a smaller chair but not terribly small I'm 5 ft 4 and 120 lb so it fits me perfectly. It is very very firm and that's the way I like a chair! The instructions were clear (although I didn’t match the sides of the ottoman correctly for the lift mechanism and had to redo them—totally my error). These seem good and comfortable, and the swivel mechanism works well. I found that the box part of the chair was a bit more complicated than I normally experience…a lot of the holes had the threaded canal, but somehow were filled with wood. Overall, this is an excellent reading chair for the price. Mine arrived in two pieces and was fairly easy to assemble. One thing to note: you have to unscrew the bottom plank to access the instructions and screws. My main issue is that the fabric feels a bit on the cheaper side and arrived quite wrinkled, which made the chair look somewhat inexpensive at first. I used a steamer to smooth it out, and it now looks much better. Comfort-wise, it’s good—not exceptional, but definitely not uncomfortable. The chair is also a bit smaller than I anticipated. It was in back order till June but arrived earlier than expected in April. It’s more of a grey blue hue in person but that’s alright. It still blends in with my charcoal gray furniture. It sits semi low as you can see from the window but it’s very sturdy, comfortable and fits a petite space nicely. Came already assembled with the exception of the foot rest which had screw on legs.
