The Quen vanity is a heavy, very solidly made vanity, with tons of storage space both in the 6 drawers and open cabinet areas. One feature that shows its quality craftmanship is that the vanity is painted inside and out, so that opening a door or drawer doesn't reveal a pine or MDF interior that makes the whole vanity look cheap. The storage and quality were the main reasons that I chose this vanity. Now that it's installed, I'm happy with everything except for the sinks -- they are surprisingly small for such a large vanity, and they're set back from the front edge and closer to the left & right sides. This has the plus that you end up with a large amount of central countertop space, but you have less sink area to work in and the placement forces the medicine cabinets/mirrors to the outside of the vanity. This is great if you need lots of counterspace (although that's why I wanted all the drawers), but it creates aesthetic and logistical challenges. This vanity is gorgeous and well constructed with soft close drawers. Love the deep rich Cherry color and intricate detailed wood work. The marble top came attached to the unit so we didn't have to install the top. The backsplash is a separate piece and has to be installed, but that is easy to do. We are Very satisfied.. Darlene.
