This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. I used a soft upholstry fabric and also laid batting on the broad surfaces. The mechanism works great and does not shut unless you pull it down. I really like this bed. It looks great in the room and I’m happy with how it came out. My only issue is the drawers can be a little tricky when pulling them in and out. They have to be lined up just right and flush or they don’t move as smoothly, which is kind of weird. The LED light strip also came down once, but I was able to put it back up and haven’t had another issue with it. Overall, I still really like the bed and would recommend it.. Anonymous. Florida. High quality feel and durable build. Beautifully made, shipped perfectly in 2 long boxes that were easy to get in the door and around a tight corner. The beige is very close to the photo color. The assembly took around 5 hours but the directions were accurate and well detailed. Missing two screws somewhere, but it did not affect construction. The hydraulic function at first felt stuck, but simply required the bolts at the bottom of the hydraulic pump to allow for more movement, and then it worked perfectly. Nice room for storage underneath. Easy to lift even with a heavier foam mattress on top. Its nice to have the inner storage fabric lining between the floor and items in storage as well. Love that the rounded corners are not just rounded but also have light padding inside as well.. Anne. New York, NY. Mon Oct 05 2026
