Great desk for a 9 year old. The drawers are fabric, the top one doesn't go in all the way because of the bar in the back. The two sections are held together with 2 wood pegs and isn't very sturdy and leaves a small gap. Our fabric drawers came really dirty. It was easy to put together and works as a nice first desk.. The Neapolitan Three-Drawer Desk brings timeless elegance and everyday practicality to your workspace. At 48 inches wide, it offers generous room for your laptop, paperwork, and décor without overwhelming your office. Each of its three drawers is crafted with detailed construction on both the front and back, ensuring durability that lasts. Full-extension drawer guides allow you to access every inch of storage with smooth, effortless motion. With sanded interiors, dustproofing on the bottom of all cases, and fitted, screwed-on back panels, this desk blends luxury with long-term reliability. Desk hutch sold separately.

The desk is quite solid and easy to set up. Unfortunately the shipment did not come with the hutch that was shown in the photo. It's my miss as in the specifications they do state hutch not included but it's frustrating that I can't even order it separately as the manufacturer has discontinued that accessory. Wayfair should not be showing photos of the item if the accessory is no longer available to purchase separately. To their credit they offered a full refund and 10% off a future order but it would cost me well over $100 to ship the desk back. This is the perils of ordering furniture online I suppose. So bottom line order this desk only if you are ok not having the option to get the hutch as well.. Scott. San Mateo, CA. Tue Feb 26 2019
