I purchased two of these to put them outside in my backyard. I left them in the pot it came with and put them in larger pots with more rocks on top. When it gets super windy I remove the top half of the palms so they won't get damaged. I live in Southern Utah so we'll see how they survive the summer sun. Actual palms are notoriously difficult to keep alive. I went through 2 of them before finally deciding to go artificial—one of the best decisions regarding houseplants, especially here in Seattle where there’s limited sunlight a lot of the year. Nice palm for the price compared to at local stores. This model is the second tallest. Roof is about 95" tall. I added a base and filled with paper and rocks to keep it stable.
