I ordered the 12-inch mattress, and Ill admit I was a little hesitant when I first unboxed it because it was still expanding. Fantastic bed! Incredibly comfortable and feels very similar to a high-end memory foam bed I just got rid of. Excellent value for the money. I ordered the 12 inch queen for a guest room, but I’ve been sleeping in here every night now. As soon as I unpackaged it, it pretty much inflated to the full 12 inches within about a minute. I did follow the instructions and left it alone for a couple days without bedding to allow for expansion. This is a perfect medium/firm in my opinion. The memory foam gives, as it should. However, (thankfully) you feel like you are sleeping on top of the bed rather than in it. It does feel much cooler than my previous memory foam mattress, so I will be using a bamboo mattress protector and sheets to maintain the coolness. The 12 inch looked surprisingly “high” off my standard box spring, and my former sheets are a little snug, but still work well. I was glad to see it is compatible with adjustable frames, because I intend to use one in the future. I got the 14 inch queen size and it is much nicer than I expected. It came compressed in a box and immediately popped open when we opened the bag. It didn’t take long for it to reach the full 14 inches height. It is firmer than what I thought I wanted and you can tell that I has springs but it has actually been very comfortable and supportive.
