Very easy to put together with only one person. Stores quite a bit. When the leaf is extended, you have a nice, large workspace. Overall pretty simple to put together…. Took me about 1.5 hours, but I put the towel bar and wheels on after the legs since my kitchen is tight on space and wasn’t sure they would work. Smaller hands make assembly a bit easier since some of the connections are in not easily assessable areas. The long and medium bolts are the same length! The Allyn wrench provided is too long, so used a smaller one I had that worked better for me. I love the color and the functionality! Just what I needed for a small kitchen with just 1 drawer. I think I have unrealistic expectations of products shipped and put together at home. The door had scraping marks in more that 1 spot and one of the drawers had a damaged knob. With those exceptions it is a really good value for the money. If you can pay to have it assembled. In order to store some different-sized appliances, we have designed 2 3-level adjustable and movable shelves in the cabinet to meet your multi-functional storage needs.

We were pleasantly impressed by the build quality of this kitchen island. The Wayfair assembly tech was professional and assembled the island in good order. It will definitely meet our needs.
