This island is beautiful and great quality at a decent price. Is just what i needed for my studio apartment and provides me extra storage and counter space. Instructions were overall clear. Was not difficult to build but it did take me about 6 hours to put together because I did it alone. Would have been much easier if I had another pair of hands helping. Very satisfied with this rolling bamboo kitchen island. I am extremely particular about my purchases and chose this one based on the real wood construction and the exact dimensions I needed to fit flush in height and width at the end of my kitchen island in my new condo and it was one of the only islands I could find in the correct size that had all the drawers I was wanting. It is constructed of solid bamboo for majority with MDF shelves and extra parts. The stainless steel top is in perfect condition and the whole unit was packed extremely well. It took 3-4 hours for my handy husband to assemble the many pieces by himself. Instructions were very clear and all parts and hardware were present with quite a few extra pieces leftover. The hinges on the doors take some fiddling with to get doors aligned correctly. We used an allen wrench with a handle grip that came with another product and a ratchet screwdriver to make assembly easier. The drawers open and close smoothly. We left the spice rack/knife block off because of space constraints. There are small predrilled holes where that unit attached but I'll cover those with some small plastic plugs and will be hardly noticeable. The wheels roll smoothly. This is a well designed island and is constructed in a durable way. We just assembled a couple days ago so only time will tell how it holds up but I feel positive that it will be an excellent piece for storage and extra counter space and should last a good long while.. 8/10, an absolute WIN! One piece of the table has a dent in it due to shipping and handling. I put a vase on top of it to hide it. Wayfair gave a me a small % of a refund due to the dent. I paid for the professional assembly Wayfair offers, and it took him 3.5 hours to assemble. TONS of pieces, and the instruction manual is crucial! It has plenty of space, is aesthetically pleasing, and gives my kitchen the luxury upgrade I desire. It has two drawers that don’t have the lock when you extend it, so I have to be careful when opening it. I even added books where some would put spices, so I am loving the dual purpose. This is a great product. It’s wasn’t difficult to put together but it took a long time due to so many pieces. It took about 5.5 hours to assemble for one person but I think would be quicker and easier with 2 people. A bit smaller than expected when compared to the staged photo, might be a stock photo for past size options. All dimensions were correct though. The drawer`s base is a thin backing for so it can bend and break with heavy objects. It did work out in the end for the size of our space. I just expected the extended table to have leg room for 4 people. Build was not difficult, maybe 2 steps that having a partner would be good. I built it by myself in about 3 hours.
