This island is gorgeous, what a bargain. Almost looks custom built in my kitchen. Very very spacious, beautiful glass doors, ample sitting space to eat or work, and tons of tabletop prep space for serious cooks (main reason why I got it). My cabinets are sarsaparilla color and Ive had trouble finding a color to match it that would have clashed (cherry colored or white). This antique black is perfect and the counter top matches the color of our dining room table and some colors in our counter. It took about 1 hour to put together by myself. It took my husband about 2 hours to put together but you definitely want help cause he broke some plastic plugs when moving it to start on a different side. (We found out later tha it actually comes with extra plugs). We want to get some magnets for the cabinets because they do not stay closed. The drawers slide smooth but won’t hold anything heavy. This works perfectly in our kitchen. I did have to put wheel rubber stops under the wheels, so no movement. I didnt need the rack and paper towel holder.
