Well packaged. I believe it weighs more than the 5-6lbs, especially if you add the chain. It doesn’t come with light bulbs. It is made to be hardwired, but I added a plug and didn’t use the chain. This light fixture is perfect for our low ceilings. I love the design. The ONLY thing I would warn people about is there are 10 lightbulbs so it is BRIGHT.
