This chandelier is definitely a statement piece with so much natural character. A few things to prepare for would be that you need to ensure that a wood beam can withstand the weight as each alabaster ball is approx 8lbs each making the total weight over 80 lbs. Another challenge we had was that the rod options that hang from the ceilings were too long so we had to have a machinist company shorten one rod and calibrate it. Once this was done we were set to install it. The last thing I would recommend is to ensure that you have a dimmer light so that the brightness can be brought down. It is very unique and beautiful but does need some extra tweaking to make it perfect. over. The. Kathleen. Wed Apr 29 2026
