This cat tree is wonderful! The box was heavy! It was so easy to assemble. It’s very sturdy, I’ve had it for almost three years and it is so stable even with two “kittens” who are now over a year old (and very hardy eaters) chasing each other up and down it. I have no concerns about it falling over at all. The best part is NO CARPET! I hate carpet on cat trees, it gets so gross and I always ended up throwing them away after a year! This tree has paid for itself as it’s so easy to dust or vacuum! I’ve saved money by not buying a new cheap one every year. I gave this cat perch 4 stars solely because it’s a tad small for an average size cat. Other than that, it’s really nice. The suction cups are heavy duty, the overall structure is secure, the scratchers seem like they’ll hold up well to lots of scratch time, and the overall aesthetic is very pretty and visually pleasing for any decor type. "The directions were not great for building this, but we were able to get through it. It took about 2 hours with 2 people. But the tree itself is so wonderful I'm not taking stars away because of the instructions. The tree is heavy and sturdy, with lots of shelves for climbing, a little house at the bottom, and my cats adore the hanging toys—those won't last long! My picture shows three large-breed kittens playing on it, and there is still room! There are little adjusters on the bottom to level it and they work great—despite the jumping around of these heavy kittens, this tree didn't wobble at all. I love pet products that are easy to clean. Traditional options with glued carpet are a nightmare because I have to pull out a steamer. But any soft surface on this model can be removed and thrown in the wash! That is a huge bonus for me! It was relatively easy to put together with well marked parts and photo instructions. It has a very wide square base so I’m not longer worried about it tipping however, when my cat gets to the very top basket and is moving around it appears to shake quite a bit - enough to make me a little nervous. All the parts are sturdy and after 2 months of having it, I can confirm that it hasn’t tipped at all. I love this cat tree. Feels a little cheap for 600. Dont get me wrong, it has been incredibly well packaged and good instructions, it just feels like they could have done better with the pieces and build (Pieces are most friction fit - apologize to your neighbors in advance for all the hammering youll do). The trim pieces just look a little bit too printed on and not as nice as on the photos (could have at least matched to wood color better). Additionally, there is quite a bit of noise come from the shelves when the cats move up and down. I think that may be unavoidable because of how open the cat bedrooms are. Very stylish and pretty for a cat tee. Also quite heavy and feels very sturdy, much better than some other models that feel like they will topple over. I don’t see this one falling down. I am a little bummed that due to the size/shape and placement of the branch/basket it doesn’t fit where I had intended to put it near a window in my upstairs foyer.
