LOVE! This bed is sturdy and the color looks great! Trundle slides out easily with no issue. Took less than 2 hours to build with 2 people. Went with an 8” mattress on bottom.. Katherine. Richmond, VA. Tue Oct 13 2026

The daybed with a pop-up trundle features clean lines, attractive angles, and plenty of classic style. Crafted from kiln-dried wood, it comes in a sleek finish that blends rustic and traditional for a standout look we love. The pop-up easily stores under the bed and wheels out and up when you have overnight guests. It can also combine with the daybed, transforming this piece from two twin beds to a king. Two innerspring mattresses are included, and they're wrapped and generously padded for plenty of support whenever you need to use them.

These beds work well for guests in my extra bedroom. One of the slats broke the second time it was used but Wayfair sent a new set of slats and it has held up so far. Some of the slats are joined rather than single pieces of wood which can create a weak spot. It looks nice as a daybed.. Julie. Portland, OR. Fri Sep 25 2026

Needless to say we are very pleased with this order. At first we was worried his existing twin size wouldn’t fit underneath but it did!! I would say the twin is around 8in. None of the pieces came broken or missing like past reviews mentioned. My son slept in it before we could put sheets on it he also enjoyed building this simple project with his dad. They provided paper and digital instructions.. Ashley. Boston. Sat Jul 25 2026

Solid and stable, this bed supports kids from toddlers to teens. Kids' furniture includes bunks, storage, and trundle beds as well as tables, chairs, and storage solutions. We love this bed! The trundle underneath is super spacious and we are able to open it up for sleepovers with brother. I’d recommend an 8in twin mattress for the trundle. We also used a bunkie board for the rope and trundle over the slats but that’s due to choice not necessity. It’s super sturdy. Anna. Lockport, IL. Mon Oct 19 2026

Anchor your main or guest bedroom in traditional style with this classic bed with a trundle. We love the prominent headboard with its inset panels and clean lines that add refined elegance. The frame is crafted from solid pine wood finished in a neutral hue, and sits on straight and slightly tapered legs that raise it almost 5” off the floor. The system of slats eliminates the need for a box spring – simply top with the standard, 5” mattress of your choice (sold separately). The integrated pop-up trundle rests on smooth-rolling casters for easy movement and can be raised to create an even sleeping surface. It also features a powder-coated finish that stands up to daily use.

The bronze color is a rich matte finish brown. I am 64 yo and was able to build it by myself. It did take a while (NOT 1.5 hours for me) and as another reviewer said, pushing all those plastic pieces in was rough on the hands ! It does seem very sturdy though. Well built, not flimsy at all. Don't tighten anything at all until everything is together - leave it really loose. Had to go back and loosen at first for more flexibility in connecting. 8" mattresses coming tomorrow - $99 deal each so the whole thing will be less than $500 for my grandchildren when they visit so they no longer have to bring sleeping bags or camp out on the floor ! I'd show you after the bedding is on but I'll prob forget so here it is....for now. Wendy. Ocean, NJ. Thu Oct 15 2026

Solid construction and looks great! My only real critique is the trundle doesn’t slide as easily as I would like… but we also put two 10” mattresses on it, so maybe the weight. Heidi. Mount Pleasant, SC. Mon Sep 14 2026

It took me four hours by myself to put together but the instructions were ok and all the hardware was there. Construction of the wood parts was good. It's very solid and I love having the trundle option under the bed. Just remember that you need a thinner mattress for the trundle pull out than for the top bed. It was such a savings to put it together myself then to purchase one in a furniture store. I purchased the grey version which is a soft hazy color.. Melissa. Hubbardston, MA. Wed Jun 17 2026

This bed arrives in four separate packages. One of the boxes is over 80 lb and will require additional assistance to move for average homeowner. The side rails as well as footboard come fully assembled out of the box. The headboard requires the side legs to be attached but this process is very simple. The support rails for the bed are extremely flimsy and using this bed as a trundle will not allow you vertical support to stop the mattress from sagging in the middle over time. Dinged a star for that. The trundle portion comes in its own separate box of the four and requires complete assembly which is very straightforward. Two of the threaded nuts that come pre-installed were missing in the holes allowing me no way to attach screws so I had to get creative as this is something the average homeowner might struggle with. The cracked wood is my fault for not predrilling. As a bonus the side rails of the bed have the mattress supports glued prior to painting and I'm including photos of the lumps of glue which are not a big deal but nice to know that the rails are physically glued as well as screwed. The trundle face came with 2 dents but my kids will do way worse in time. I would recommend this bed as it can be used stand alone, with a trundle, with the rails lowered for easier access, and also used with an existing box spring and metal frame.. Justin. Loxahatchee. Overall the bed is sturdy but it is VERY difficult to pull out the bed into a king especially on carpet. It seems like there should be rollers or something to help with this. The carpet we have is not very plush and it takes a lot of wiggling and pulling to transition to a king. Luckily we don’t have to do so often but when we do it is hard to do with just one person. Doable but very challenging.. Ashley. Williamsburg, MI. Mon Oct 19 2026
