Looks nice in our living room and matches the side tables that we ordered separately. Husband said it was fairly easy to put together even though it had the lamp in it. I got two and love both. I will say it's strange to me that the top is two pieces rather than one longer piece like the shelves below. But once assembled, it is irrelevant and looks great. This is a useful little side table. I do wish the lamp swiveled, or had multiple brightness settings, so that I could vary how much light Im getting from it. The materials look nice and are solid enough, but probably wouldnt hold up to much abuse (eg frequent table movement, very active use by kids, etc). Good for the price, and happy overall.. Sarah.
