Exactly what I needed as far as size, sturdiness, and looks, but I just wiped off the top and a whole section of varnish wiped right off. I'm waiting for the manufacturer to contact me for a resolution and will change this review if they take care of the issue. I needed a small table to go in my open concept living room/kitchen area that I could also use similarly to an island. This table fit the bill for me and was easy to assemble. The box is around 30lbs so wasn’t too heavy and the instructions were easy to follow and took about an hour including unpacking with two people assembling it. I ordered two small chairs for seating. This table is smaller in person and definitely will not fit 6 people even with extra stools on the sides, it is not enough table top but four yes. It did come with some scratches in some of the white pieces but the table top was intact. You can put it together by yourself but I recommend a partner.
