I like the design. The wood is a bit soft which diminishes the holding power of the screws. This might be an issue later on especially if the cart is full and one moves it around a lot. The finish is of poor quality since it’s a very thin flat finish which allows for dirt and grime to easily stain the surface. I’ll be painting the entire island shortly with an epoxy finish. There were no reviews on this but I decided to purchase it anyway for our back porch. I wanted something to set beside my grill to store tools and other items. This will live under a covered porch. It is real wood, pine. The pine scent is almost overwhelming when you take it out of the box lol. This is very lightweight. The one door had no holes drilled for the handle so I had to do that myself. Also had to cut a notch in the shelf since it did not fit correctly. I used wood glue and the provided screws and it did sturdy up. This was one of the cheaper ones that I found on the site and overall I am happy with it. I think it will serve its purpose and I do like that it’s real wood and not the fake press board. The metal top is just a sheet over a piece of wood but I think it will be just fine.. Seth.
