The bench is of good quality and exactly what I needed for my entry, but putting it together was quite a chore as the pre-drilled holes were non-existent. Fortunately, there was a mark where they were supposed to be, so I could put the screws in the right places. They say not to use an electric screwdriver but I was forced to do so, with no adverse results. The lack of holes made affixing the top to the body with the hinges very difficult.. Jennifer. really liked the look and finish of the cabinet. It was easy to assemble if you take time to review the instructions. My only concern is that shoe compartments are small! I bought it for my son’s room to make him keep his shoes organised, but even sneakers youth size 6 fit tight if you use 2 compartments.
