I love the look of the bed frame, the assembly was very easy. My only complaint would be the sturdiness of the support legs and mattress slats also the bed frame only came with 4 slats so we bought more. Another concern is the small piece of wood that holds them up.. Josilin. Mon Oct 12 2026

With Wayfair, you never know what you're going to get, but this bed is nicer than we were expecting! The headboard and footboard are solid wood and the sides slide in easily. Our king size Sleep Number bed fits great with room for the head and foot to lift. Solid sleigh bed. Ganeshan. Indianapolis, IN. Sat Jul 25 2026

Welcome some classic style into your bedroom with this low-profile sleigh bed. It's made of solid alder wood in a cognac finish that shows off the wood's natural grain. This bed features a gently curved headboard and footboard. Plus, molded details and turned block feet add traditional touches. We love how the neutral hue and design of this bed works with any color bedding you'd like to add. And it's compatible with an adjustable bed so you can customize the comfort level. You'll need to add a box spring and mattress of your choice (sold separately), but a slat kit is included.

This is a gorgeous, high quality piece of furniture. Overall, I am very satisfied. However, there are 2 sets of holes in the headboard where the side rails attach. Since we had to use the innermost set of holes, the outermost set of holes show, past the side rails, which looks a bit tacky. Luckily, they are not really noticeable from a distance, and bedding will help hide the extra holes.. Wendy. White Bear Lake, MN. Mon Jun 02 2025

Offering timeless appeal, this sleigh bed features a beautifully curved headboard and footboard. Ideal for any bedroom, this sleigh bed has a solid wood and wood veneer construction for optimal durability, promoting night after night of restful sleep for years to come. The Friel Bed embodies a marriage of sustainability and timeless design. Crafted from reclaimed solid wood sourced from diverse origins, this bed stands as an eco-friendly marvel, contributing to the responsible use of natural resources. The naturally timeworn appearance, marked by nail and bolt holes, bug holes, water and mineral staining, checking, and open knots, tells a story unique to each piece. The strength of reclaimed wood, seasoned through years of service, is reinforced with a finger-joining technique, allowing the creation of the hallmark long planks of the Friel. The multi-step finish, featuring a rustic brown with gray undertones and charcoal glazing, enhances the heavily distressed look. The gracefully curved headboard offers pillow propping ease for bedtime reading, while the sturdy 400-pound capacity footboard seating bench provides a practical spot for daily routines. Compliant with safety standards and backed by a 1-year limited warranty, this bed offers rustic comfort and peace of mind, reflecting a commitment to both style and safety.

The bed is sturdy, and looks as pictured. It was delivered in a few pieces and required assembly on site, but it wasn’t so bad. That said, the manufacturer assembly instructions were sparse and the side boards were a different part number than the slats were intended to pair with, so we had to modify some of the assembly which was a little frustrating. Still a good product overall and I’m happy with it. Caitlyn. Pleasant Grove, UT. Tue Jul 07 2026
