I was pleased to see they did and also the mattress is more substantial at 8” thick versus many that are much thinner. The seating is firmer than many standard sofas, but that is to be expected when there is a mattress tucked into the sofa. Love the Quaility and modular construction. Very easy to put together. Day 2 of delivery and still see a little sign of compression on back cushions but expect that to decompress with time. The microfiber material seen very good in Quaility. My only minor issue was a few springs on the pull out had fallen out and need to be reinstalled but nothing after that. I would recommend it. The seat part of the sofa is not hard but not soft. I would say medium to soft but this is understandable given it is a sofa bed and I am overall very impressed with its comfort. This sofa looks great in my home office. And it’s gonna be the perfect guest bed for visitors as it folds out to basically a full-size bed and it’s actually pretty comfortable to sit on. Some of the other reviews didn’t rate the comfort very high but I think it’s great. And it looks wonderful. I’m not using the swivel table as you can see from the picture. And I’m covering up the cupholders just because they’re a stainless metal and that looks a little bit not the vibe of that room. But basically I’m very happy with this. I love this little couch! I ordered this for my spare room. It is comfortable the fabric is soft and it was very easy to put together. The back lays completely flat to create a full size bed or you can pull out the drawer and it can make two small beds.
