This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. The instructions were not easy to follow at all. We have the same exact couch in a grey but I don’t remember it being this hard to set up. The couch is solid though and we must have liked it for us to get 2 of it! This one is in our family room and it has a beautiful royal blue color to it. If you are looking for a less bulky set that is still long and has room, this should do it. It does not look cheap. But I will say this - from knowledge of the other grey one we have, the fabric starts to have piles on it after a short time and this happens with age and from rubbing (sitting) upon it. I am now seeing that there might be ways to remove piling from furniture. Briles all-aluminum 2-seat sofa with quilted wrap

I'm not sure who loves this patio sofa more, my cats or me. It arrived well packed in a very large box. It was fairly easy to put together as besides the back pillows there are only 4 pieces, the sides, back, seat. The only issue I had was that the screws are very long and one side one took a while to screw in as it was more difficult to turn. It is very comfortable and my tripod kitty can easily get on it to sleep. He loves it. It looks very nice and seems like the fabric is strong and will hold up for quite a while. This couch is beautiful and super comfortable. Stylish, modern and firm. I read the other reviews that said it was easy to put together. We struggled to line up holes and connect the two back pieces. I ordered it once and it had red marks. I ordered a replacement and it came with a red mark as well. Most of the mark came out with Dawn, but not all of it. Waiting on a replacement arm.
