Being a female in my 70’s, I was worried about the assembly. I considered paying to have someone put it together but my son said he would do it, so I didn’t purchase that. My son got very busy when the daybed arrived so it was just sitting in the box. Then I decided to start to read the directions and before you know it, I had assembled the bed all by myself. I really like this futon. Very well organized parts and directions. Super solid and the drawers underneath are perfect storage for linens and blankets. Mattress seems well made and color is as pictured. I gave 4 stars only because I have to move it away from the wall when I want to make it into a bed but that might just be because it’s a queen..
