This is hands down the most comfortable couch I have ever owned. I was always against getting a recliner, but this couch changed everything. When not in a reclining position, the couch doesnt look like a recliner at all. The buttons are tucked underneath the cushions so you dont even see them. This is a tried and true product review. Assembly could have gone smoother if I didn’t have to take the majority of it apart because I put the pieces in the wrong ends….. totally my fault. I like the couch and the fact it reclines the downfall is when you recline there is a huge gap in the back seat of the couch and bottom cushion and it’s not comfortable. We had to send the first one back as it did not come apart properly. The seat is one section but the backs come off for moving. It is still really long and may not fit through some stairways. Wayfair was excellent regarding the return. The guys who brought it took it away and another was delivered. We love the couch. We are 5'7" and 6'0" Our feet hang over the edge of the foot rest but it has not been an issue. It's just me and my husband so it is perfect. Don't know how I would feel about it if it was upright all the time. We always put our feet up. The back has a separate control to put the back in a more upright position. This is the perfect sofa and should last for years. I did a ton of research before spending this much money on a product I have never seen. It absolutely is as well built as it is advertised and you will not find any comparably priced sofas that are as good a quality as this. Flexsteel names it “Dutch” if you are trying to find information about it on their website or wanting to see it in person at an authorized dealer. It is only 91 inches long but ways 297lbs. If you need to move it you definitely need help as it is solid. The color is more beautiful in person, I was very happy when it was delivered. Also delivery was 10 days ahead of schedule with less than 24 hours notice they can deliver it. The delivery team set it up,and cleaned up. They were wonderful, I could not have donee it by myself..
