This chair is perfect for my space in my 1 bedroom apartment. It's nice to have another option for a guest to sleep with it's sleeper component. Some said the cushion wasn't super comfortable but I think it's fine. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the under part that comes out to make it either a recliner chair or a bed doesn't have anywhere to lock to the chair, so if you move a certain way, it can start wheeling away from the chair. I do very much like to storage compartments in each side and the cup holders. My only real complaint was that the instructions were absolutely horrible! The pieces didn’t match and nothing was labeled with stickers so you could figure out what each part was, and this was especially important for the three cushion pieces. I got this chair to be a reading chair in my office space and I think it works perfect perfectly. The cushions are thin, but they are soft and comfortable to sit in. Be fold out process of turning it into a lounger is very easy and I love that. The only thing I don’t care for is the black metal piece that is used as a back or a stand is black. I felt like they should’ve also made this gold to look a lot more seamless into the design. If I don’t keep this chair in my office, it would definitely be a great addition to my daughter‘s room, especially if she has friends over. The first 3 pictures are from the first delivery. As you can see that this was damaged from warehouse or shipping. When i opened i saw 2 cuts from each side panel. It’s on the front and it’s big enough to see. So i boxed it up and called it in. Wayfair agent was very nice and very helpful and she even had it picked up from my front porch and scheduled another delivery after it was picked up. Very fast turn around and I am very happy with the service. I received the replacement and the box was in goods condition and no damaged. However. If you look at the 4th picture with a big dent on the frame, this was another reason i can call and returned. However, since it was hidden in the back and cannot be seen, i kept it because I’m tired of the hassle of calling it in and boxing it up. On the description, it says made out of leather. And non of the word FAUX leather. It feels like leather but i think it’s the cheapest leather. The chair is heavy enough to move around. The assembly requires a little bit of time and energy and frustration but it will get done. It is nicely manufactured from the outside but there are a lot of problems with the inner wood. Since the leather is thin, if you feel the wood material inside it feels thats its all banged up during assembly and it was covered to hide the dents and ugly shape. David. Suisun City, CA. First, I have to say that with all the poor reviews regarding putting it together I nearly didnt get it. This only took 15 mins to put the wheels on. No issues. Second, so many have suggested this is good for kids. I would NOT recommend this for children. Unless your kids sit still and are easy on furniture, this is not good for kids. The back MUST be positioned against a wall (not a problem here, but if kids are going to be on it or its not against a wall, forget it. The back will likely snap off -its wobbly.) The unit itself is very sturdy though! Sitting on it while I write this and feels solid. Lastly, reviews said it was VERY hard- firm- and it is, but I love it! But again, a reason its not for kids, because theyre used to flopping down on cushy things and this is like plywood with a thick foam solid cushion on top ...when I go to flop down forgetting that its firm I realize quickly its like sitting on a step of cement. However, I do love this! Im thrilled that I got it! Its the right color, though in this lighting it looks gray but I purchased the black one and is indeed black. It is a Tweed fabric, so the white specks in the fabric paired with our lighting make it appear light gray, its not. It is not lovely to the touch but not as awful as it could be. My favorite thing about this is that its incredibly versatile! Im a small person so when I sit down with pillows behind me my feet touch the floor, the positioning is perfect for leaning back on (side ways and fully extended of course), and is the right size for an armrest (When I read armrest in the booklet that came with it I was like what armor rest No joke its just like an armrest perfect height for me). When you lay down on it its perfect for someone who is shorter and prefers firm surfaces to sleep on (though narrow, so know that). I have back issues, and suffer on air mattresses or soft beds. I LOVED that people reviewed it as being too hard because I knew it would be perfect for me! Were using this in a spare room. Its the right height for a low coffee table, can be seating or pull-out overnight bed, can be moved into the living room for an ottoman or chair, and fits just about anywhere. I was very concerned because I thought I was going to cover up a plug in the wall with the back of this however when you pull it out the bottom clears the entire outlet! The one thing Im not thrilled about is I think that in shipping the pull out portion was bent, its a little out of alignment but it still works fine, its just going to irk my OCD and I do worry about its function. I would never pay full price for this item. And honestly I would have expected it to be about 10 to 20 less than it was on sale, but it was absolutely worth it for as many different ways as we can use this.. Amber. Willowick, OH. These are amazing! My sons are 6 to 6’1 tall and fit comfortably. The sleeper has a cushion thick enough to resist hardwood floor. We are temporarily staying at my parents and are very practical.
