I’ve owned the fridge for about 3 weeks and it is a solid upgrade. PROS: It looks great and elevates the look of the kitchen to gourmet. The water/filter quality is top tier and the auto sense fill feature saves time when filling up a glass or a measuring cup. And of course it chills and freezes nicely with features that boost the capability for special circumstances such as installation or recovering from a power outage. CONS. It’s missing a few “normal folks” features that I’ve enjoyed over the years and that I would expect for the cost. 1. It is massive and takes 4-6 people to deliver it; annotate that during delivery or they won’t send enough people to get it off the truck. Also, installation and haul away aren’t included. Be prepared to pay a few hundred extra. 2. The door isn't magnetized - so it won’t hold a magnet. 3. When our 10 year old 24 cu ft Maytag fridge died because of faulty compressor and we lost all our food, we had to go with a Samsung side by side. We loved the look and features of this model especially the sphere ice. Wow is all I can say about the ice. It makes a great amount in such a short time on top of having standard cubed and crushed was a big upgrade. The capacity is amazing 27 cu ft with plenty of room for everything. The style is very industrial and gorgeous. I was nervous it wouldn’t match our other appliances and cabinets but it makes our kitchen pop more now. The external water and ice dispenser work flawlessly and the Smart Things app has added to the benefits of this fridge. I can control how much ice and utilize AI features to help save energy as well as make the fridge perform its optimal best. This refrigerator is very stylish. We bought a counter depth.They are smaller but this one is very well appointed. The drawers slide so nice. Has a Deli drawer and a Butter keeper. Which most refrigerators no longer have. Helps to keep everything organized.The freezer has 2 drawers and really nice wire shelves on the door that bend out.
