I really happy with it and building it went smoothly. As my animals and I get older. I like the lower profile platform. I havent put my ten inch mattress on it yet to get it even lower. I still have space to hide stuff under the bed.. Linda. NE. Sat Oct 17 2026

I love this bed frame! It is just what I was looking for. It is very sturdy and was easy to put together. The natural color is a little more orange than I thought it would be but it works well with our other furniture.. Margaret. Massachusetts. Thu Oct 15 2026

The Sapa platform bed makes its case through restraint. With no headboard to draw the eye, what remains is pure structure: a low, clean frame that lets the room breathe around it. It is a design suited to the bedroom that has learned to do without excess. The horizontal profile sits quiet and grounded, leaving the wall behind it open and the floor space uncrowded. Beneath that simplicity, the frame is built entirely from solid wood and assembled using traditional Japanese mortise-and-tenon joinery, hand-crafted joints that interlock without screws or bolts to deliver silent, lasting stability. Reinforced to a 1000 lb capacity, it is far stronger than its spare appearance suggests. A silent slat system holds beneath without creak or shift, and the whole assembles in about 30 to 45 minutes without power tools. The Sapa platform bed asks for very little and gives a great deal in return: a calm, uncluttered foundation for rest.

Hello Im totally in love wth the simplicity of this platform bed frame It is well made and made of solid wood. The color is beautiful I wanted something simple but makes a statement The joinery makes it easy to put together and it totally carries itself with no headboard to take away from the Beautiful wood. It was a bit on the heavy side since it is SOLID WOOD ... but each piece is very straight-forward as to where its suppose to go... after all it just has 4 sides ) I put it together by myself it was a bit of a balancing act... lol ... I had read in reviews that people were complaining that you need two to put it together...you can just lean one of the long sides onto a wall then slide in the two shorter sides and then you slide the two other ends of the short side ... WELLA YOUR BED IS MADE Soo0oo... NO YOU DONT NEED TWO PEOPLE ... I PUT IT TOGETHER SOLO, JUST LIL OLE ME ) Mercedes from OK Change. Mercedes. OK. Sun Oct 04 2026

This is the perfect platform bed that I was searching for. Our small spare bedroom's main use is as a "man cave," but on occasion when our son comes to visit, we need a good platform to put a mattress on. This was super easy to put together, folds up nicely and we can put it in a corner of the room out of the way when it's not in use.. Jurintha. CT. Mon Oct 12 2026

The frame is mailed in a surprisingly compact package. The design is clean, it's straightforward to assemble, and construction seemed thoughtful (e.g., the slats are both screwed and velcroed in place to the underlying frame for additional stability).. Audrey. New York, NY. Wed Jun 03 2026

I search for a while for a bed frame that would fit in my sunroom and work with my hide a bed mattress. The hide a bed couch was old but mattress is fairly new. This option made it so I could still use my mattress. This is a full size mattress and fits its perfectly. I love that it has 3 different options of being a couch, lounger and a bed. The wood seems solid and it’s very comfortable.. Aundréa. Tue Jul 21 2026

I own a king size mattress (9 inch height) and two xl twin box springs (9 inch height). These are what I placed on this bed frame once I got it assembled. The specs say it has a capacity of 1000 pounds. If you are going for a setup like mine you may be alright if weight capacity is a concern for you. Assembly was pretty straightforward only 2 different screw types and washers...it comes with an allen wrench. I assembled it alone and it took me about 1 hour. Was impressed that the middle support slacks were made of some sort of metal. All of my past bed frames were made of wood slacks so it feel super safe. No squeaking when getting in and out of bed so far. Frame legs have floor grips on the bottom. CONS: 1. [This one is self inflicted lol] Kinda ridiculously high since I added my box spring and a mattress. Haven't run into any issue getting in and out of bed. It's actually kinda growing on me. 2. The frame isn't crafted to inset the mattress. As a result the mattress will lay on top of the frame. There are products like Adjustable Non Slip Matress Stoppers to hold mattresses in place if this bothers you but from my setup so far everything has stayed in place so far.. Joshalyn. Augusta, GA. Create a relaxed, casual retreat in your bedroom with the Mendon bed frame. Crafted from solid rubberwood, the Mendon features a classic walnut brown finish that complements any color palette. Its low platform and angled, tapered legs are reminiscent of cool, mid-century modern design. Add some crisp white sheets and a plush duvet to complete the look. This bed includes wood slats, which eliminate the need for a box spring.

Shown are the dimensions for the full size bed frame. Without the legs, the width is 56 ⅝ inches, with the legs the width is 58 inches. Under the bed is a hair over 10 inches. Not pictured, but the length was 76 to 76 ½ inches. The quality is a solid 4 out of 5. For the price I paid, under 300, I felt like I got what I paid for. There are some tiny imperfections on the frame, and some moderate imperfections on the plywood slats and support legs. But I dont feel like its going to snap on me or anything. Its a sturdy bed frame, very attractive. The height is perfect for me, gives me a bit of storage room underneath without making the bed too high. The frame wood is a good walnut color, fairly evenly stained with natural appeal. The rounded edges are great, no stabbing my shins. The legs are on the outside, but the gap at the headboard means it doesnt run up against my baseboards. Overall I would recommend the bed! Assembly was fairly easy. I managed it on my own, but it would be easier with two. The only issue with the bed is the freaking wood screws. It comes with an allen key, which every other part of the assembly uses, but every other slat is supposed to be secured with wood screws (the other half are with allen wrench bolts). This feels like seriously cheaping out. The wood screws are probably fine with any sort of drill, but I only own manual screwdrivers and couldnt manage to drive them into the frame. The screws are meant to screw into the hardwood frame which is very difficult by hand. I ended up giving up and just putting tiny felt squares under that half of the slats, to prevent noise. When I get a drill Ill add them in.. Liam. Michigan. Fri Oct 02 2026
