Good item for the price it’s definitely more decorative than it does provide any type of backrest. It is only attached by two wood rails so you wanna ensure that it is up against a wall that can provide additional support. I recently gave one of my guest rooms a makeover which included a new headboard. I love this new headboard, it was exactly what I was looking for and very easy to assemble. The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t go up against the wall all the way which when pushed it knocks up against the wall. I’m not sure if it’s the headboard or the way it’s positioned against the wall. My last headboard didn’t make that noise. Other than that, I’m pleased with it.. LaShandra. The headboard was exactly how it looked in the photo of the website. I managed to carry it 2 flights of stairs. Only 4 stars because the packagingprotection could have been much better. There was a dent and rip on the cardboard box it came in. Luckily, the headboard was not damaged. Plus, the headboard was a little shorter that my euro pillows sit on my bed a couple of inches taller than the headboard(not a deal breaker). I didnt want to install it any high because there would have been a gap above the mattress. I installed it myself without a problem. I cut felt pads to adhere to bottom of the legs as to not damage my hardwood floors. I love the clean lines of the grey chevron pattern and wood color.
