I bought this because my mattress needed to be a little higher to be even with my nightstands. I live alone, and it looked like I might be able to deal with these folding foundations on my own. The box they were delivered in was a bit heavy and awkward to get into the house (I wish all large boxes had handles punched into them), but once I did, it was easy enough to maneuver the foundations into place under my existing mattress. Another plus is that they lift the mattress above a one inch lip around the bed's platform, making it quite a bit easier to put clean sheets on. So far, they don't make any noise and solved all the problems I was hoping to solve.. Elaine. Cincinnati, OH. Thu Sep 03 2026

The Serta Low Profile Box spring offers support, durability, and reduced motion. When used with a proper supportive bed frame, it helps prevent sagging and blowing for the life of the mattress

Good support in a low profile. We also have a narrow stairway as our home is built on pilings so we wouldnt have gotten a one piece king box spring up the stairs regardless, so we were excited to see this option.. Dan. MI. Sat Sep 12 2026

This box frame was easy to assemble with only a Phillips head screw driver and the wrench that was provided. I ordered the queen size and the cover that came with it was made for a full size mattress. The company is sending me the queen size cover and I am returning the full size one. Otherwise, I believe it is very well made and the cover seems like good quality material.. Anonymous. Sat Oct 24 2026
