It feels sturdy and is even a bit heavy to move around for repositioning, even when empty. It doesnt seem fragile, though naturally, if you go too hard with the drill or misalign a part, you could end up cracking it. Crafted from sturdy MDF material, the freestanding armoire is an ideal choice for a primary bedroom, guest room, or any space lacking built-in closets.

Looks good once assembled and pretty much as pictured, but you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality. It’s surprisingly heavy while still feeling somewhat flimsy, especially the very thin back panels. I think it’s a solid short-term solution, but probably not furniture that’s going to go the distance, and I’m not sure how well it would survive a move. Assembly was also a major pain and took about four hours. Overall, if you need something affordable and temporary, it gets the job done.. Eric. Los Angeles, CA. Mon Sep 28 2026

I purchased two for my entryway to hide all of our shoes and jackets. They’re really nice looking and good quality. They’re a little too big for the space for both so we’re moving one of the wardrobes into a bedroom and getting a matching shoe rack that will fit the space better. I hired someone to put it together and he and his partner put them together in about 2.5 hours.. Cynthia. Portland, OR. Tue Aug 18 2026
