We purchased for our granddaughter with the flexibility of being able to move it around her roomhome in mind. It is very nicely planned out and all of the little accessories that come are so well done. We have had one minor issue with a damaged part but wayfair was amazing at dealing with it, we cancelled the replacement offer as we can just glue the part. Our biggest request is that the description is changed as it does not fit 11” “Barbie” or 12” “Ken” sized dolls. We are so happy with this playhouse! Our daughter is 2 (almost 2.5) and has been absolutely obsessed with it since the day we set it up. The pizza oven and grill are such cute features and honestly what sold us — she loves “cooking” for everyone and serving little pizzas all day long. The working doorbell was also such a fun surprise and adds a really interactive touch that keeps her entertained. There are so many little details that make it feel extra special without being overwhelming. It took a few hours to setup but was overall fairly easy. The size is great too — big enough for imaginative play without taking over the whole yard. It feels sturdy, looks adorable, and has already become the main event every time we go outside. I am giving this five stars but read more for a very honest review. First off, this is a great product for the price. I compared so many playhouses trying to find something large enough for my big 4-year-old, and open enough to not get stuffy in our very humid hot summer climate, but at a lower price point because kids are expensive! This checks all of those boxes. I only found a couple others that were as tall, and none with the overall square footage at such a low cost. It took me—a single mom stopping for many snack breaks and with occasional “helpers” and then a couple of “squatters”mid build, a total of 5 hours to build. Please note you get what you paid for. I did have to drill a couple holes they missed in the pre-drill, and a few things did not line up perfectly. Some of the hardwareattachment systems were laughable, but I trudged through and in the end it appears sturdy enough. The fence is completely worthless unless you use your own hardware, but with the tiny screws for it, my little 1-year-old daughter pulled it both off the house, and apart two minutes after I built it. But who needs the little fence anyway! It was the least necessary part! You will need a drill for missing holes and to make construction fast and manageable. It does not come with any wrenches etc. in the kit. Overall it is so cute, and we are very pleased. I would absolutely purchase it again. Now to get back to my plastic hot dogs, but not until I wash my hand in the sink (also the toys that come along are silly and will likely frustrate your small humans like they have mine) but we are keeping it together and having fun!. It’s a pretty nice dollhouse, I loved the price the most. They are pretty expensive nowadays and I really wanted to get my daughter her very first one so this was great. It was however kind of hard to put together. I don’t mind having to bust out the screwdriver but some of these pieces just didn’t match up and some pieces didn’t have the predrilled holes done all the way so that was a little frustrating. A wonderful addition to our Merrywood Tales collection. This shepherd’s hut is the perfect glamping staycation for our new family of mice. They have borrowed some human-sized trinkets to use as essential furniture in their hut. A teacup makes a perfect shower for a little mouse. Spools of old thread make for chairs to sit on, a tin of sardines creates the comfort of a baby cot and tucks neatly underneath a simple bed inside. A pimento tin doubles up as a small wood-burning stove. A safety pin becomes a towel rack and an old watch provides the time of day. Little stairs can be clipped to the front door to help them with the step-down. All can be accessed by removing the roof, or through the little doors at the front.
