It goes great in a room with sloped or low ceilings. It makes a statement, but quietly and modestly. It checks all the boxes and does away with all the unnecessary bells and whistles some beds seem to have. It's lovely with honey oak floors, but truly would fit a variety of different styles. It’s versatile and has a transitional quality to it, making it easy to adapt to any aesthetic. That's a huge deal for anyone who wants to change things up every once in a while. Since it's neutral, it brings unity and cohesion to just about any style. I ordered it on a Sunday and it arrived on Tuesday. It took my husband about a half hour or so to assemble - and most of that was spent unboxing. Before putting it together, I added adhesive felt pads to the bottom legs for easy sliding and protection of wood floors. It's solid and well-engineered. It doesn't make a peep when getting on and off. I wouldn't be wasting my time writing this review if I didn't think so highly of this product. The headboard brackets are adjustable in both height and width and have 2 1/2" and 4"-hole centers. All hardware and tools required for mounting the frame to a headboard are included. The frame seems pretty lightweight, but the person putting it together said it's sturdy. I ordered this for a guest bedroom, so it won't be getting daily use. I like the roominess under the bed allowed by the height of the bed frame, which makes it good for storage if you're inclined. The 14" tall frame gives about 12" of space under it.
