I researched many mattresses before deciding on this one. It's for my guest room and won't get daily use, but I still wanted a good quality mattress, which this seems to be! The only issue I had was that even after four days of letting the mattress expand (much longer than what was recommended), the 14" mattress never made it above 12.5". Wayfair made it right though, and I'm pleased with this mattress.. Judy. Whiteland, IN. Mon Jun 29 2026

I was reluctant to purchase a mattress online because I've always tested out options in store. The reviews were very helpful but ultimately what convinced me was the double sided use. I do prefer the softer white side of the mattress and can see the benefit of switching to the firmer side after years of use. After a week on the mattress I am SO glad I made the purchase. I still can’t believe this mattress came in a box. It unfolded and reshaped itself instantly upon being opened. The box is very heavy so be prepared to have someone help you move it. The bed I am using this mattress on does not require a box spring, but when you sit on the edge of the bed the mattress is not firm or sturdy and kind of collapses under you. I’m unsure if it’s a design flaw of the bed or the mattress but it feels a little unsafe, like if I rolled over to the edge in the middle of the night I would surely fall off. I suspect it is due to the lack of firmness. The mattress is advertised as medium firm but I find it very soft, and I prefer firmer mattresses, so I docked a star for the lack of sturdiness at the edge which I think is also related to its lack of firmness. It is not flippable which does not bother me but might be a dealbreaker for others.. Elizabeth. Salem, MA. Tue Sep 01 2026
