This rug pad worked well under the 7 × 10-foot rug I also purchased. The rug was fairly thin, so I wanted some extra padding. The pad keeps it in place and adds just enough cushion to make the rug feel more substantial and a bit more expensive. I did need to trim one side for a perfect fit, but overall, it’s a good value for the price. I would recommend it!. Elizabeth. Bloomington, MN. Fri Oct 02 2026

Adds thickness to the soft rug , also holds it in place !!!. Martha. Orange, CA. Sun Oct 04 2026

Ideal for both hard surfaces and carpets, this thick rug pad adds significant cushion, prevents shifting, promotes the longevity of your rug, and is easily trimmed with scissors to fit underneath any size rug. Made in America.

I bought this 3' x 5' rug pad to try to get my area rug to stop inching it's way across my hall carpet. I received it in the time specified and it was as described on the web site. When I opened it there was no odor coming from the pad. I didn't have to cut it which was nice. After vacuuming both carpets I placed the pad between the carpet and the area rug. I had to look up how to put the pad - felt side down toward the carpet and rubber side against the area rug. A quick set-up sheet would have saved me some time and effort. The pad has added some cushion which makes it nicer to walk on. As for the traveling area rug, it has slowed down and only moves a centimeter or so a day. I'm hoping as the pad grips the carpet more, my area rug will stay where it's supposed to. Overall, it is worth the purchase.. Lynn O. Santa Cruz, CA. Wed Sep 02 2026

100% Felt rug pad designed to add comfort and floor protection under rugs. Reversible for use on hard surfaces and carpet, ideal for uneven surfaces, and reduces puckering under heavy furniture. It can be cut at home to custom-fit any rug. Ideally, the rug pad should be cut approximately 1-2" short of the rug perimeter. Your rug pad dimensions will be a few inches shorter than the size of the area rug. This is NOT a defect nor is it the wrong item, the rug pads are made this way to avoid causing the rug to have a lip which would get in the way of walking, a door opening etc.

I have purchased several of these rug pads over the last few years. The quality is good. They work very well on hardwood floor floors would highly recommend.. Gina. Greensburg, PA. Sun May 24 2026
