This ceiling fan is perfect for us. The room has sloped ceilings. I have been looking for a ceiling fan that would fit this space for years. For it's compact size this ceiling fan really moves the air nicely. Please note it is heavy, my husband had to add extra support in the ceiling. This took me about five minutes to install, which was great. But when I turned it on for the first time the blades hit the cage and made a terrible noise. Thinking about taking down the string lights we also have under the gazebo, since the fanlight is so bright & adjustable. May have to get another fan just to move the air around a little better. No electrician available to install so I had to have my daughter hold it up and then remover her from the photo, and it is HEAVY so she did great for a 14 year old. I loooove this fan. The wood blades are so beautiful. The wood tone matches my beams pretty well which was a nice surprise. The fan is well crafted and I'm so pleased that it has a light. The light portion and the fan blades were very easy to install. The instructions are clear and it comes with extra hardware which is always so helpful. My favorite things about it are the fact that the wood grain sort of lines up on the fan blades and the hardware is really nice even though it's not showing.
