The Kapellen upholstered ottoman is way bigger than I thought it was going to be. For my tiny home it makes things rather tight in my living room. This modular sofa is awesome. It was super easy to open up. It came very compact and inflated almost right away. It does take a full day or so to completely fill in. So don't worry if it looks a bit lopsided at first. The box was a bit heavy so I'd suggest a team lift to place it where it will stay. The pieces are all separate so it's easy to change the lay out. The brown color is more like a sand color and blends really nicely with our light gray walls, giving the room a more warm feeling than our previous black pleather sectional. We usually don’t allow our dogs on the furniture and our kids are all grown, but we shall see how it holds up with our grandkids over the years! The edges of the each sofa modules include pre‑drilled holes with metal fixtures that lock the sections together securely and prevent separation. This is a useful design choice however, applying the same connection system to the ottomans would have made alternative sectional layouts much more stable and practical. Just buy this. It’s heaven on earth. Got this so that all four of my dogs could sit on the same couch. Before, i had a reclining leather couch that my husky/GSD mix and two pugs sat with me on and my huge GSD had his own matching leather recliner, but I felt bad that he had to be separate.
