This heater can put out some heat!! I set mine at 60 degrees and it stays 70-80 degrees in my well insulated small home. It is NOT a wall insert - it mounts in the floor- I purchased it to mount on the wall and then had to call Wayfair because it does not mount on the wall as advertised. Purchased for sunroom, turn it on at night when outside temperature 5 degree C and below. For safety reason, installed a ventilation fan to suck post burnt remains. Only used one time so far I think overall it will be great you must hold the the pilot light down for 5 or 6 minutes, at least to get it to light up. For me, the installation was a lot harder than I thought it would be. The unit I have is propane. Time will tell, but overall, I think its going to be great for heating up my small cabin. i have 10 of these heaters - both in NG and LP for an off grid cabin in all three sizes - best value for a straight foreward reliable heater - simple thermostatic control - no bells and whistles make it easy to repair and replace parts that are readilly available - no power needed - if you have 120v you can position a fan above the heater - got lucky when i found these on line.
