This fandolier is a great choice to replace the full size ceiling fan that I had up before. The bedroom is small, so the size is great. I love the color of the wood, and the fact that it has wood look blades. My grandson had it installed in under half an hour. I did get bulbs for it, but I dont care for the look, and the blades actually hit the round shaped bulbs. We have a "Florida basement" storage room in our modern organic coastal home that needed a light. This was perfect, nice (not cheap) quality and a little fun. When lit, the warm brown weave creates a neat little pattern across the ceiling. As some have mentioned, you will need to be directly under the fan to feel it but it does move air surprisingly well. This is perfect for us because I sometimes hang wet clothes on a drying rack or do some ironing in the center of the room.
