This is a beautiful fan. I was surprised to see it is plastic. It is not white I would say more an off white. It is plenty large- which is good for my large room. The fan shakes when turned all the way up. I called customer service and they offered to have a new one sent. But that wouldve meant paying my electrician more to take it down and put up another one. Wayfair offered me a discount and I took it. Im just not going to turn it up to the max setting.‍♀️ very quiet!***. Melanee. Florida. Mon Sep 30 2024

Beautiful light, but Minka Lavery's installation instructions are terrible. It would be helpful if they provided blow up pictures of each screw and the location this screw is used. They only included a one page sheet of instructions and it was very confusing and in very small print. Also one screw was missing.. Suer. Wed Aug 19 2020

It's a cool & quality light. Only thing I didn't like is the "cloudy" effect on the glass is a little factory-ish, like too obvious & doesn't match the rustic quality of the chunky glass with rough edges.. Jessica. Silverdale, WA. Mon Jun 08 2026

We looked around for a long time to find this fan! I purchased this fan for my family room. It arrived well packed and quickly. It's been fantastic! I love this fan for it's looks more than any other fan in our home. It's just beautiful, not an eye sore like some fans can be. Transitional, modern, clean. I like the white, it disappears into the ceiling. The gold is a nice touch. It can go in almost any style of room. It elegantly updated my family room. Minka Aire moves the air around well and we really can't even hear it other than the soft sound of air moving. The remote makes it convenient to use and has a lot of nice features. The light is nice although we also have 4 can lights because the ceiling is tall and it was needed due to the size of the room and ceiling height. Still, it is nice to sometimes only have this light on when in the room. It gives off nice light and is adjustable too. This is our second Minka fan and I expect it will last a long time just like our other one. I highly recommend this fan if you are looking f. Blue. South Barrington, IL. Sun Dec 14 2025

The fan is beautiful and exactly what I wanted as a hater of fans. I wanted something a but more sculptural and this does the job very well while also moving air around the room better than a traditional fan in my opinion. It has been making some slight clicking sounds, even though it was professionally installed so I will be keeping an eye on that but its nothing out of the ordinary for now.. Viviana. Miami, FL. When I saw this light advertised, I thought the $3500 was way to much for the light.. It is not true alabaster.. I could not find anything else as big and Wayfair had a deal on it, so I pulled the trigger and purchased it.. It took about 3 weeks to get here. When it did get get here the box was HUGE!! The delivery guy are great and will get it to your front door, but you on the hook from there.. Oping the thing up I see why the box is so big.. It very very well packed.. Unpacked it and moved it up to where it needs to be hung.. You really need to plan for this light.. It's Heavy.. I think the documents say 127lb but it feels like more.. I had to hang this thing 14' in the air.. I had 2 guy helping with a couple of ladders and it was hard.. Make sure you do some planning when you want to hang it.. You will also have to make sure your light box will hold this thing.. The standard one will no way hold.. Please make sure you have the right support in the ceiling.. I have a 2X4 I screwed a heavy duty bracket into.. The standard Box would NEVER hold.. You should also try and use clean gloves.. I got the edge a little dirty and it is very hard to clean.. Once it's up it looks really good.. Its just what the space needed and worth the price.. I was glad it was not real stone.. This thing would have been even heavier and I would have never gotten it up there.. Overall very happy with the purchase.. Chris. MD. Tue Jan 09 2018
