With inbound summer weather promising a blazing sun and merciless heat on many cloudless days, one reaction might be to cancel all outdoor plans and stay indoors; however, the party can always go on with this exciting California Umbrella cantilever design! The spacious 11-foot octagonal offset canopy is supported by eight aluminum ribs that are conveniently cranked open to provide a wide shaded space. As the sun moves higher in the sky, you can maintain your shade coverage by shifting the angle of the canopy to one of five preset positions using the vertical handle. This cantilever umbrella features a pedal at the base of its aluminum frame that enables you to rotate the umbrella 360 degrees, ensuring more coverage for your outdoor space. A sturdy cross base for the umbrella can either be bolted to the ground or weighted with pavers for stability from wind and weather. When the heat of summer has passed and shade is no longer needed, the canopy can be tied closed and the included protective cover pulled tight over it to defend it from fading and the elements. This umbrella also features Sunbrella fabrics, which are built on a foundation of solution-dyed acrylic yarn, the most resilient and solid material for prolonged sun exposure, to offer an even longer color retention rating than competing material sources. With this umbrella featured prominently in your backyard space, you will not need to worry about canceled summer get-togethers and parties, so order one today and invite some guests to enjoy summer’s outdoor beauty!

You can enjoy vibrant and long-lasting colors season after season. Unlike traditional Roman umbrellas, it features a unique and innovative construction that sets it apart. Huge, and very stable for being so large. Several options to rotate. Only thing is, everything you do with the umbrella is done by one crank. With the umbrella being so big, its very heavy and that cranking motion does a job on your shoulders and arms. But its beautiful, sturdy and easy to operate. The light inside easy to operate also. I had it professionally assembled. Make sure you have a very heavy duty base for it too. It is water resistant and has been good through a couple of pretty strong windstorm weve had....just make sure to close it at the 1st sign of a wind or thunder storm. So far, I highly recommend.. Fast Delivery on this top quality umbrella. I like these crank-tilt umbrellas. The last one we had, that was replaced by this one, worked for over 15 years. The only reason we replaced it is that the cord which is used eventually fails and they are impossible to replace without completely disassembling the center pole with no way to put it back together unless you have the press pins and a tool to replace them. So, in 15 years I will have to replace this one again I suppose. The Sunbrella fabric was in great condition on the old one, only because we covered the umbrella with a high-quality umbrella cover.... the cover is the key to the longevity. If you invest this much in an umbrella then you should definitely cover it!. Andrew. Poway, CA. Tue Jul 29 2025

I got this 15 ft patio umbrella from Wayfair because I needed serious shade for my backyard, and honestly, it does exactly what I needed it to do. The size is impressive. It covers a large area really well, especially over a patio table, chairs, and part of the surrounding yard. In Florida sun, that matters. This is not a tiny decorative umbrella pretending to help. It actually creates a usable shaded space. The umbrella itself looks really nice once it is up. The neutral color works well with my yard and patio setup, and it has a clean, simple look without feeling cheap or flimsy. I also like the double-sided design because it gives much better coverage than a standard round patio umbrella. The crank handle makes opening and closing it pretty straightforward once everything is assembled and standing. That said, this thing is heavy. Very heavy. That is good in the sense that it feels sturdy, but you should absolutely expect some effort when setting it up. I was able to get it together, but getting it upright was not exactly a delicate one-person activity. I would strongly recommend having two people, especially when lifting the umbrella into place and getting it stabilized. This is not something you casually pop up while holding an iced coffee in the other hand unless you are secretly training for a patio furniture strongman competition. The base is also important. Because the umbrella is so wide, you really need to make sure it is properly weighted and positioned, especially if you live somewhere windy or stormy. I would not leave it open during bad weather. Overall, I am happy with this umbrella. It gives a ton of shade, looks good in the yard, and feels sturdy once it is set up. Just know ahead of time that it is large, heavy, and much easier to manage with two people. For the amount of coverage it provides, though, I think it is worth it.. Shauna. Tampa, FL. Great umbrella for the price, very large. It does not have the tilt feature which I wanted, usually those tilts mechanisms fall apart with a larger umbrella. The pole is quite thick so you’re going to need asturdy base a sturdy base.. Joseph. West Hempstead, NY. Thu Apr 16 2026

Received our umbrella yesterday and it took about 15 minutes to set up. The umbrella is nice and good value for the price. The only part that is a little flimsy is the extensions that go into the fabric. The instructions says clicks into place and mine don’t seem to click they just slid in and are being supported by the fabric. Maybe a design flaw but still usable.. Maria. Apollo Beach, FL.
