I got this cat tree for my chunky girl who’s a whooping 15 pounds of awesomeness. I got it to replace another similar one, that was simply too small for her. It’s soft and very sturdy. My cat is not a big climber so this one is just perfect. Wish the sisal rope was wrapped around all the posts. My cat is larger, so stretching to reach the rope is not possible for her, but I could easily see a kitten enjoying it. My cats love their new tower and my big boy (20 lbs.) doesn’t even make it shake. It was very easy to assemble and the only adjustment I made was putting the little cave basket on the bottom instead of the middle shelf in order to give my extra large boy more room to stretch out..
