The only minor downside is if one side of the adjustable bed is raised and the other isnt, it can shift a little—but thats expected with split adjustable beds, not a flaw with the product. These bed rails attach to your headboard and footboard to support your bed. These bedrails will attach to Bolt-On type headboards and footboards. The Bolt-On Headboard and Footboard Brackets feature 2.5" or 4" centers on the mounting slots. The bed rails feature sturdy 12 gauge railroad steel construction. They may be modified to attach to hook-on headboards/footboards through the optional hook-on accessories such as #35 Hook Plates. The price is for a pair of side rails (one for each side of the bed). Rails are sold in pairs only to ensure a correct fit. Please note, however, that the rails shown may not match your rails exactly. Images are for representative purposes. I am very disappointed with this purchase. THE GOOD: I like that it was full over full. Assembly was quite simple. THE BAD: The fully assembled bed is quite wobbly. 350lb max weight for bottom bunk. 250lb max weight for top bunk. You can hear every movement. The bed wobbles with movement. I almost feel like motion sickness for me. Luckily its for my children. I won't be going through the hassle of returning. I will be seeing how it holds up. I don't recommend for anyone else.
